America’s changing times and you.

What would it take for the citizens of our (used to be) great nation to start a revolution?

With all of the recent whistle blowing about the evasive spying, and the cuts to food stamps for our poorest citizens, or the lack of jobs for out lower and middle class blue collar citizens?

Are we getting closer to having riots and civil unrest?

Most of the Americans usually fall into three trains of thought on this.

This first and the probably the majority would say no all of the government’s policies are in effect to try to fix the problems we face in today’s world. A world where we fear terrorist attacks in our own city’s, and see other countries having the same economic troubles. These people are most likely elderly, religious, or have medium to high income jobs.

The second who are the working class, most likely disagree with our current government. They see the government as another thing for the TV and newspapers to write about. They don’t agree with hardly any of the choices the government makes, but they realize that it doesn’t really change their day to day activities.  They have the mentality that the nsa is probably spying on Thier Internet activities but they aren’t doing anything wrong and it doesn’t slow down Thier browsing speed so they don’t care. They still have to wake up and go to work the next day no matter what the government does. They see the cost of gas, and food rising and Thier pay staying the same. That is if they are lucky enough to have a job. Which they will do almost anything to hold on to. It’s how they were raised by Thier parents and Thier parents government. This group of people is likely to be the skilled labour workers, union workers, families where both husband and wife have to work to raise Thier young kids, not as religious as Thier parents, and tired of having to struggle just to feed Thier family and have gas money to get to work.

Lastly you have the lower class poverty striken minorities, you have the college kids that are surviving on ramen noodles when they try to complete Thier college courses, these people figure that this is the world they live in, they have too hard of a time trying to pay rent, or buy gifts for Thier kids for the holidays they don’t even hear about government policies they don’t have cable or Internet in Thier homes, in till they call to see why Thier food stamps are lower then they should be. They don’t have time for the government. This group is rural poor, urban poor, struggling to make ends meet. They get taken advantage of because they don’t have the means to provide for themselves they have to rely on others.

If you look at the different points in history where revolutions actually changed the way things were, you can see some common points.

1) the upperclass makes too many mistakes and can’t fix the repercussions that they caused. And the upperclass splits with one side starting to support the revolution for Thier own agenda.

2) the lower class joins forces with the middle class and together they revolt fighting side by side in till the government stops them or they are successful. At which point the classes will split back to being separated middle and lower and it starts the cycle of abusive government over agian.

3) you have a situation similar to the revolutionary war. They comman man has had enough and is successful in getting rid of the government to establish his own better idea of a government. However given human nature and time all forms of government will fail.

Humans are not capable of representing every other humans needs, Thier should not be a government let people take care of thierselfs, the people that are a drain on the hard working would either change or die. They people that make houses are going to make houses, we don’t really need a entitled person to make choices for people that don’t live and work in the same situations. That is how greed takes control, it’s how come all media is biased, it’s why other countries don’t like American government. It’s why we can’t go to a sports game with out being subjected to dna profiling and a homeland security background check.

Please leave your comments below, share your ideas in how you and your family are prepping for this if your doing anything at all. Is it even a concern that Americans feel is a possibility?

    • I agree, I typed the whole thing on my mobile. Not that that’s a excuse for my lack of grammer skills. But it doesn’t allow the luxury of a grammer/spell checker. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

  1. It`s actually a lot more complicated than you make it sound. First off, there`s the Federal Reserve, which is NOT a Federal bank. It`s where the ELITE started their decent upon the human race back in 1913. It`s a long story, but that`s the beginning of the downfall towards a revolution which brings me to my second point.
The collapse of the American dollar. The American dollar will collapse as soon as it is no longer the world currency. This is coming up quicker than anyone imagines. Right now China along with a bunch of other countries are doing away with American currency as the worlds currency. When other countries buy something from another country they must first purchase U.S. Dollars and buy with that. We (being the U.S.A.) have the “luxury” of just borrowing more money from the “fed” whenever we want, of course we must borrow more each time to pay back the original PLUS interest. There`s where our “national debt” really comes from. Well, you can figure the rest. Eventually, somethings got to give.
As soon as the dollar collapses we will see TOTAL civil unrest. No welfare, disability, soc. sec. retirement, food stamps etc. etc. etc.
The store shelves will empty in a matter of hours. There will be NO GAS! There will be no NOTHING! This is when revolution starts. Oh yea, did I mention MARTIAL LAW? This will be in place by the time the stock market and banks collapse. This is why the Dept. of Homeland Security has bought nearly 1.7 BILLION rounds of ammo, along with over 2600 armored personnel carriers. I mean why else would the D.H.S. need all that? Civil unrest and martial law. It`s not going to be pretty.
All I can say is stock up NOW, on food, water, guns, ammo, batteries, silver, and gold!
Good Luck my friends. God Bless and keep each other safe.

  2. i think we should goback to individual state government. like we did during the 1776 revolution.our founding fathers new what was best.i my self have wepons.that were given to me,and no trace, plus other usefull items,i’m also a retired electronic eng and was in comm us navy, way back,i can survive off the land i hunt fish i use a bow with dam good accursery score 175 out of a 300. it’s silent but deadly. that’s my comment.

    • I agree that having a smaller government, one that is based more on maybe each county in a state make the decision’s for themselves, yet still remain united as a country. Honestly, it sounds good in my head but as I’m typing this I can’t figure out what would keep each state together as a country with this type of government. Care to suggest how you would handle that? Thanks for commenting.

  3. There is another class of people that you overlooked. The one that fought [fights] for this country, does not feel entitled, works for everything they have and now feels betrayed by the very govt that now suppresses that class-the citizen patriot. The internet is not our primary focus and only an instrument of communication

    • Sir, I served in the marine corps. I understand what your saying. But before I was a marine I was a country boy, and I guess I lumped the military member’s in with the blue collar class. Do you think they fit in that class or would you prefer a different paragraph for them? If so feel free to email me and I can make a post about how the military member’s feel about the government. Thanks for replying. I’m awaiting the email I think this would be a good discussion point.

  4. Never forget that every good American should possess capable small arms and sufficient, capable ammunition. I don’t mean bolt action hunting rifles, I don’t mean just the, admittedly small AR-15, I mean, capable, powerful, accurate, 30 caliber and larger weapons. A well armed citizenry is the best defense against a belligerent entity. Whether that’s some form of local, state or federal government gone bad, rioting hoards, or any other form of nastiness.

    • I agree with you on this point, I have always felt as if pistol’s were more for close quarter’s, or in the home self defense. I personally prefer a nice pump 12 gauge (loaded buckshot, buckshot, slug), for my home defense weapon. And a 30-30 lever action for protecting my outdoor property. I know a lot of people will say why not a fancy tactical type rifle. And the only reason I can think of for preferring these types of firearm’s is that I was raised hunting with them. Thanks for leaving a comment.

      • Agreed, I view this in three stages. My choices were a Saiga 7.62×51 semi auto with scope as it is relatively cheap, same as an AK with the trigger moved back to make it a “hunting carbine” and NATO surplus is less expensive. Mid-range is a 270 bolt action, 12 ga pump, or Glock 17 depending on condition. Short range is Glock 17 or 19, or Ruger ACP. Backups with various knives, Bear Whitetail, and the knowledge to make trasp and number reducing components.

      • That’s some pretty good choices for personal protection, I like that you have both self defense and hunting ability on there. Thanks for commenting.

  5. I think it would help if people paid more attention to the events unfolding around the world. If you want to see a revolution in action, look at Syria. Revolutions are not pretty. They can also be hijacked by an external entity. You better believe that there will be a foreign presence trying to influence the outcome of any American revolution, just like how the CIA, JSOC, and other entities within our government try to shape the outcome of revolutions in foreign countries by backing those with the government’s interests with training, money, political capital, and military aid. Our government has been involved in shady things around the world, and I am afraid that it will come back to haunt us.

  6. I really don’t mean to be crass but despite the smartphone interface you are either a foreigner or a teenager trying to represent yourself as philosophical or you are a young adult painfully exemplifying the result of today’s public education.

    Anyway. See this . . . . http://www.wimp.com/thegovernment/

BY the way the revolution that created the United States is one of the very few in history where the people that started the revolution are the same people that finished it AND resulted in a more liberated populace than the beginning. See Egypt and Syria as a most recent modern examples.

    • No offense taken, I am new to this and am posting all the comments good or bad. To help motivate me. I am actually a white 28 yr old small town guy. If your talking about my poor writing skills than I only have myself to blame, when i was in school I was positive I would never need any writing skills, as I planned on being a heavy equipment operator in the union. Just like my dad and grandpa, so I focused more on dirt bikes, hunting, and shop classes. After I graduated (which I did without ever passing English 1,honestly) I joined the marine corps as a heavy equipment operator. Once I got back home the construction unions were slowing down on the hiring and I got lucky and found a job with a plumbing company. Now I have two kids who I want nothing more than for them to get a excellent education so my grandkids will have a better chance at success than I did having to rely on my own hands to make money. If I could afford it I would have my kids in private school and I really would like to have a tutor for my son (he’s two) because hindsight is twenty/twenty and I wish I would have applied myself when it came to my education. If you were talking about my views they are from the life I have lived and the way I was raised. Thanks for commenting. Hope to hear more from you. I’m going to take a look at that link now.

  7. Fear mongering, as usual.
Nothing will happen, nobody will start a ‘revolution’, all just blah blah.
CONUS would be well off is people would stop voting for repubs, no need for survivalists, mass shootings and stock-piling arms.

  8. Ask yourself:
Will it ever come that far?
Will all levels of government allow unrest to spread?
Will you have enough food, water, medicine, lights and heat to sustain yourself & family for 2 weeks?
Will you be able to get out of major centers?
I guess the answer to all above will be: NO!

    • Thanks for the reply again frank. I feel that me and my family would survive longer than most. Look forward to your next comment they keep getting better and better.
